Nice courtyard outside to sit and/or study, a bar, and a restaurant. Can’t beat that, wasn’t expecting it. Staff was nice and accommodating, will be back next visit in Austin for sure

Hotel Van Zandt was great! All aspects of the hotel are fantastic. The cafe was a great spot in the morning for coffee and breakfast tacos. The bar was lively in the evenings. The restaurant was good. The pool was really nice and the gym was better than most hotels. My room was also very nice. Will stay again for sure.

Our stay at The Fairmont Hotel with The Gold Experience was simply AMAZING. Welcoming staff from valet to front desk and room service was Fantastic! Oh and about The Gold Experience… it made our 12yr old twin sons feel like we were celebrities! Starting off the day with an included breakfast.. We could grab snacks/beverages plus much more anytime throughout the day. And with very helpful/pleasant staff at The Gold Lounge.. one twin even quipped “Can we stay here all day and forget about exploring Austin”lol.. and they hadn’t even seen the pool!! Stepping outside onto the 7th floor rooftop was pure magnificence. 2 pools with one looking like it was half the size of a city pool. We definitely wouldn’t be packed in there like sardines like at many other hotels! 5 Star Rating? I give it 10 Stars.. it’s Highly Recommended!!

The staff was friendly but showing up for a competition and informing ahead of time that parking is 69$ a night was a hard hit from someone traveling from far away and then when the light hit my comforter I can see mold all inside the comforter. After having a rough weekend away from home and alone charging more than a hundred dollars in destination fees on top of an already paid room! I will Never stay there again

The Peacock restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch, the room and the lobby were beautifully decorated and really interesting.
