Desventuradas Islands Romantic Holidays

Overall nice hotel, nice rooms, good food. I booked rooms with breakfast for 1 (per room). Same rates same booking. The front desk seemed confused about it but after printing my booking off said it was ok. In the morning 2 breakfasts were covered and two only had $15 vouchers. Hotel staff were very unhelpful trying to sort it and said “it’s a third party booking you have to deal with them” and seemed satisfied with that. It’s been a week now and lots of back and forth with Expedia. Still unresolved. Will be considered a great stay overall if this breakfast is covered as it was advertised, booked and paid to be all included. But still the hassle is no fun.

Stayed in King Room, comfortable bed, good size room with natural light. Staff friendly and helpful

super unhelpful with family emergency, never responded with any actual help. useless front desk. overall would not recommend

I love it

Lorraine, the manager, is extremely rude and very combative. Not only is she extremely rude to customers staying there, but also to her employees as well. If you ever have to go to her about your concerns, she will be very dismissive about your concerns. I told her AC was out for two days and she said,"no it wasnt." As if SHE was the one who stayed in the room herself. Thankfully, everything was resolved but the experience my family and I had here with her as well as the Hispanic woman who waves her hands around her face up at the front desk was absolutely unprofessional and made our vacation such a poor experience. The only good experience was Mel. You are amazing. That man needs a raise.

Nice hotel great food

Excellent location near subway station and theater district. Walkable to many restaurants and bars and entertainment. Gorgeous historic and unique hotel.
