Maavarulu Mountain Holidays

I found the boat transfer back to the airport extremely distressing and an unpleasant experience. The sea was rough, yet the boat driver was operating the boat recklessly at excessive speed, showing little or no consideration for the safety and wellbeing of elderly passengers and children. The journey was frightening and completely unacceptable. My wife became seriously unwell during the transfer and was very close to fainting by the time we reached the arrival point. I consider this a serious failure in passenger safety and duty of care. The boat operator should have adjusted the speed to suit the sea conditions and prioritised the safety of all passengers, particularly the elderly and children.

It is an amazing resort, and I was lucky enough to spend my birthday there. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay truly special. We were especially impressed by Maniuu, who looked after us throughout our stay and made sure everything was perfect. We absolutely loved the sound and healing session overlooking the beach with the wonderful June – it was such a peaceful and unique experience. All of the restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was consistently good with great variety. The marine life around the resort is incredible. We saw sharks, many beautiful fish, and even manta rays, which was an unforgettable experience. The surroundings are simply stunning. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, which was fantastic – amazing views, a spacious and comfortable room, and the nets overlooking the ocean were my favourite spot to lie back, relax, and enjoy the scenery. I also received a birthday cake, which was not only delicious but such a thoughtful and lovely gesture. I truly felt spoiled. During our stay, we also took part in art classes with an amazing artist. I was genuinely surprised by how unhurried and detailed the experience was – he was incredibly patient, explained everything step by step, and we came away with a beautiful keepsake to remember our time there. We also enjoyed a lovely sunset cruise, which was the perfect way to end our days. Overall, it was a beautiful, memor

The staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble. It is lovely to be remembered as returning guests as we were by the staff in the Cafe. The SPA is fabulous and they take care of you extremely well. Definitely go for a Beachfront deluxe bungalow you then step straight onto the beach and have your sun beds close to your room. If you want a chilled holiday then I can highly recommend and a quick 10 minute speedboat ride helps rather than a wait for a seaplane.
