This hotel is in a great location and only 1.5 blocks away from the Mekong River, The room was a good size and it had a great balcony overlooking what I believe is the Royal Palace. The breakfast was good but not great.
However, there were several shortcomings including;
- the air conditioner unit was old and small and couldn't keep the room cool enough during the daytime
- the TV didn't work
- there is no light in the bathroom and so it was pitch black at night (I moved a table lamp into the bathroom)
- the door to the balcony didn't lock
- the room key (not card) was attached to the card used to turn on the electricity and unload you departed them (which I did) the room would get stinking hot while uni were out.
- there was tea provided in the room but no coffee
All in all, this hotel is not 5 star and I would rate it a low 4 star because of these issues.

Great place, while the rooms are a little dated and need some maintenance. The pool area and restaurant are beautiful. We spent plenty of time around the pool. Food and drinks are also priced well. I will be sure to stay again next time.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff and conveniently located. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Palace was very close.
