We received a good welcome and entered a clean, warm cottage accommodation. The fire was an added bonus. The sounds of the birds was soothing although when it was chilly in the early morning and late afternoon, with sliding door closed soothing music, a glass of wine and a good book allowed complete relaxation. We had a thoroughly enjoyable 4 nights stay.

Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast on the veranda was awesome with beautiful fresh fruits daily and a stunning view, we didn’t use the pool as the weather wasn’t ideal for swimming, hands down our best host for our trip was Andre and his 2 gorgeous fur babies, we felt safe and were very well cared for, thanks Andre :)

Outstanding lodge in a nature reserve with great facilities and friendly helpful staff. The chalet accommodation was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, and the location in the nature reserve was great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed at least one more. Having said that, it was not cheap, but good value for what was on offer.

Very unique rooms and building. Loved the layout. Very friendly staff. Beautiful setting.
