Staying at St. Helens was like staying in a traditional mansion! We fell in love with the grounds when driving in, with a beautiful fountain and rose garden in front. In the back there are a gorgeous lawns, and gardens, a perfect setting for weddings or other special occasion. The restaurants are both excellent. There are a lot of nice touches everywhere, like blankets on the back of some of the chairs at the outdoor dining area to keep warm. Overall we were really impressed and hope to return again.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Ashling hotel. Everything was very clean, the bed was particularly comfortable, and the towels were luxuriously thick. Their breakfast buffet had many delicious choices and there was even free ice cream available in the lobby. My only complaint was with the low capacity flushing of the toilet. I don’t think any water was saved when multiple flushing was required.
