Launceston Tamar and the North Mountain Holidays

Tha bed sheets were white and looked clean. The walls were freshly painted. The toilet cracked stained and the plastic seat and systern were fit only for a prison. Being very old missfitting and the plastic crazed the cystern leaked and had to be Turner off to allow sleeping the windows x2 only one was fitted and very poorly with flywire. I booked because it had a 4 star rating. We were so disappointed when we arrived. It was truly a low point in our stay in Tasmania. The problem 😕 was the rating of 4 stars totally misleading. We would have cancelled the booking if it was possible. As a matter of interest. We only slept there. We left at first light and returned very late. Preferring to walk and spend as much time away from this place as possible. The savings on accommodation in our view are not worth the dissapointment

great room, so big - would have been nice if it had had a small table and chairs so you didn't have to sit on the bed. and a small couch would have fit in also! you only get a view of the carpark if you don't pay extra for the silo rooms but the size of the room makes up for it. A bit remote from cafes etc so a small microwave would be nice so you could heat your food or drinks when you finally get them back, but there is a cafe in the park next door, open in the morning- fantastic stay

The room was clean with a small kitchenette which is useful when travelling. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The Bistro menu was good. The food was presented well and was very tasty.
