Very chic and austere…and the front desk was incredible. I came in on crutches and Guy at the front desk recommended the right place to go to get chef out. Restaurants abound. Quiet, clean and very comfortable (esp the pillow top bed). Wish there was a restaurant on site for breakfast, however. That’s said, it got us out!

Great location and unusually large rooms for Hong Kong. The hotel is in an excellent location in Tsim Sha Tsui, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and easy access to the MTR. The rooms are surprisingly large for Hong Kong standards (comfortable, clean, and good value for the price.) The breakfast buffet is decent and reasonably priced, though not exceptional. The only downside is the lobby area, which is quite small and has very limited seating, making it less comfortable if you need to wait or meet someone. Bottom line: Stay here for the location and room size (both are hard to beat in this part of the city.)

One of my best ever hotel stays. Honestly, felt like I was the first one to ever stay in the room. That is an extremely rare thing. Fantastic renovations. Room makes you feel like you’re staying inside of a movie theater. Room sparkling clean. Comfortable bed. Special “birthday cake” presentation surprise on table for Mom’s birthday. So nice. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Everyone very friendly. Location is unparalleled. Just a bit further from park entrance than Disneyland hotel…but the extra walk alongside the sea is amazing. This park has the most beautiful atmosphere of all the Disney parks. Hollywood Hotel grounds are gorgeous, lobby is fun to relax in late night after park visit, running-walking pathways nearby are incredible. Go to Inspiration Lake sometime! I’ll definitely stay again at the Hollywood!

We recently celebrated our daughter’s 3rd birthday at the Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong, and it was truly unforgettable. We arrived on an early morning flight, traveling with a newly turned three-year-old, and Joy Drilon kindly arranged for us to access our room early so we could rest. That gesture alone meant so much to our family. On my daughter’s birthday, Joy went above and beyond. She prepared a beautiful birthday cake featuring my daughter’s favorite princess, Elsa, along with Elsa balloons, a lovely Shangri-La teddy bear Tony and Chef Sam, and even a framed family photo to commemorate the occasion. Every detail was thoughtful and heartfelt. Seeing the joy on my daughter’s face made the entire experience priceless. We are deeply grateful for the warmth, care, and genuine hospitality shown to our family. Thank you for making her 3rd birthday so magical and memorable. If you are traveling with children, I would highly recommend staying on the 45th floor at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong. The experience felt especially thoughtful and family-friendly, making our daughter’s birthday celebration even more special.
