Great location staff helpful and kind

Beautiful, clean and conveniently located! However, I would say it’s definitely made for people coming from out of town !

Phenomenal hotel, best service ever (actually), well situated to nearly everything you want to see (walking distance).

My room offered a stunning view of the city scape and you can get an even better view from the sky spa pool. They offer a decent breakfast buffet and the lunch and dinner buffet is actually a very good western style spread. The shower was a very nice rain fall style with an extra adjustable shower head and you can opaque the glass walls for privacy if you like. The bed was excellent and the TV was equipped with the usual apps but they do default to the Japanese version of the apps. The location is excellent with easy access to both the Osaka metro and the Keihan line.

We booked this hotel as website indicated a pool and sauna were included in our stay. It wasn’t until after we checked in and asked about these, that we were told they were only available with an additional fee! In house restaurants book up quickly and we were unable to eat at the hotel. There is a free shuttle from the airport but had wait for three buses as the first two were full. The hotel is beautiful and the staff member who assisted us with baggage delivery was extremely patient and accommodating!

Stayed here for a few days at the end of our trip. The location is excellent, right near Osaka Castle. We had a room with a view of the castle and river, and it was wonderful. The area is very quiet, and surrounded by other high end hotels, and business offices. The staff at the Otani is beyond attentive to your needs, and go the extra step to make you feel welcome. Rooms come with a nice sized soaking tub, and all toiletries one might need, including toothbrush and toothpaste. We arrived early, and were able to check in early at no extra cost. We were also surprised with a some sweets and a card in recognition of my birthday, which fell during our stay. We opted for a triple room, and each of us had our own bed, which was nice. There is a breakfast buffet available which is very convenient, and numerous boutiques, and restaurants to choose from. There's also a Family Mart and Mister Donut nearby, as well as other small coffee shops and eateries. We opted to have a fancy dinner to celebrate my birthday, at the Sakura restaurant, and it was by far one of the best fancy meals I have had in a long time. Worth the splurge, as it was pricier than anything we had during our trip. Will definitely go back to the Otani.
