Got extra towels etc easily so the owner is really accommodating. Duvet cover smelt like strong musky body odor in a spot. Slept without it the whole time. A bit dusty in general. Heating was great and so was the cast iron bath tub.

Overall, our stay was okay, mainly because the location was excellent. Everything we needed was within walking distance, which made getting around really easy. There were a few things that let the room down, though. We had booked a room with a king bed, but it was actually two single beds pushed together, which made the bed feel uneven and uncomfortable. The bathroom also had some maintenance issues; water was dripping while showering and even when using the hand basin tap. Another issue was that the window wouldn't close properly because it was missing a handle, and instead there was a screw nailed into the frame which made it uncomfortable to open and close. Which also left a small gap letting the cold draft coming into the room. The location is definitely the biggest positive, but I think the room could use some maintenance and better attention to the advertised room setup.

Property is in a great location, close to everything in town. However the furniture is a little tired and in need of updating. Leather sofa has stick on patches covering wear and tear and the beds are creaky. I would stay again, however these minor fixes would certainly elevate the premises.

Lovely room and friendly staff. Outlook was really nice from the balcony. Food was great.

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful atmosphere. It even smelled fantastic. Comfy bed, large spa and seperate lounge. Very homely. Would defiantly recommend! My wife was very happy!
