United Kingdom LGBT friendly Holidays

We are return visitors to the hotel, visiting back after exactly a year. The return experience was so-so. The room was small but nice, and definitely, we did not have water rushing down from the ceiling in the middle of the night as in the previous visit (and the maintenance guys from Africa -- based on their accent -- telling us that that is normal because of airconditioning). The breakfast has gone through a serious downgrade. The majestic Taj breakfast (one English and one Indian) is gone, replaced with something more watered down. The breakfast staff is hit or miss as before, the men tend to cluster and chat and only provide service when asked. The women staff tend to be more attentive. It is not possible to take the stairs to the exit. For us, it is a familiar hotel, and the service was tolerable, the amenities good, so perhaps we will still pick it when in London. (Though prices were really high this visit.)
