Dead Sea Kid friendly Holidays

A little bit dated. Had some issues with one of the rooms that never got fixed. But overall a good stay with cool atmosphere

When we got to the room, the tub had urine stains. We had to call front desk to send house keeping to clean the tub. Then the room had a smell of urine. By the window there were stains, I know it’s a pet friendly place so I’m not sure if the person previously had a pet but the smell was unbearable I was able to spray my room spray to cancel out some of the smell. Unfortunately that was the only room and they couldn’t switch me out.

So I typically do not put reviews with comments, but was very disappointed in our stay at Palms. We stayed for two days and two nights. The first afternoon we had lunch, which was ok but not great. Had leftovers so I took them to our room and put them in the refrigerator for later. Then later in the evening after going to the strip, we were back and our floor icemaker was broken so we had to go down a floor to get ice. The next morning, discovered there was no coffee in our room. Woke up to realize as well that the refrigerator was not working at all so our food was no good. The most amazing thing about this was that when I went down that morning and talked to literally a manager and another employee what we had experienced there was not a single word of apology. Other than to say, we will put a request order in for our maintenance. No comps, nothing. To me that was ridiculous. And and not that I expected that, but it was surprised that it was an offer, especially in a hotel that comps people all the time. The positive stay was that the bed was awesome.

The room was clean and very well put together. Bed and pillows were great. The shower head had an extraordinarily amount of pressure and showering there was amazing and an experience of its own. Bar Vickey had great staff and great drinks. Smoking cigars there was allowed and reminded me of the good old times where smoking was cool. Club legacy had amazing views and great atmosphere. They sold cigars at the bar so I assume you can smoke there too. The pool was pretty cool too; however the waitresses never came by us…so I had to walk up to the bar every time I needed a drink. The coffee shop at the hotel did not meet my expectations of greatness. The sleeve on the cup did not prevent the hotness to scold your hand…so if you need to carry more than one drink to your room, you should get a carrier. I tried the breakfast sandwich and cheese danish there and wasn’t too impressed by them or their prices. The food at the Saginaw restaurant was good. I had the Meatloaf dinner and it was great! Overall, my stay here was a pleasant one and it is a great choice if you are planning a Vegas vacation.
