We appreciated the help we got after hours. The cabin was a bit on the small side but had everything we needed. It was a very nice stop over on our trip. The proximity to the ocean and lake was a special bonus.

It's not entirely the property's fault but when a large gathering is taking place that is taking up 10-15 rooms and they park in other rooms parking spaces, and take up the entire pool/playground area... the property becomes miserable. I couldn't use the pool. Couldn't park at my room. The room itself has no ventilation and all the windows were dripping in water in the morning, curtains are getting mouldy. Under the beds had a lot of stuff so clearly not cleaned. No towels for pool provided. But otherwise it's fine.

Check in was easy, even though we were likely given some erroneous information on timings of complimentary cocktail and canapés. We were, however, accommodated with a drink and nibbles at the bar.
The hotel restaurant did not have any available reservations for this hotel guest.
The blanket on the bed had excrement stains (picture available) and smelled like someone had slept in the bed previously, but the sheets werent changed. The mattress was lumpy, and in our opinion, should be changed.
We were ignored by two reception staff upon checkout and had to go back a second time.
Complimentary coffee and croissant were good, would have been even better if the latter had been provided on an actual plate.
The parking was free on the weekend, which is of course a bonus.

Fantastic hotel with great service! Free milk! Will definitely stay again. Building has lots of character. Comfortable bed. A bit basic but all that you need! Shower was hot.
