Cabo de Santa Maria Island Fishing Holidays

It is advertised that it is a two minute walk to the beach. When we checked at the front desk, they said it is a 15 minute walk. After 15 minutes, the beach is nowhere in sight. Perhaps if we drove for 15 minutes. It should also be noted that this is truly a campground. The bungalow is a single-wide trailer that is half the standard length. The walls are paper thin. The shower leaks and runs underneath walls to other rooms.

The condo was spacious and the cleaning staff actually came in 3 times over the 8 day period we were there. They did a wonderful job of keeping the condo spotless. We loved the huge patio with a partial ocean view. We would often sit out there in the late afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese. Tons of closet and dresser drawers for our clothing. It's a beautiful facility with a wonderful pool area and an excellent on site restaurant.

Outstanding hotel, upgraded on arrival. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Excellent pools for kids, great kids club, very good gym. We were not even playing golf, just a great place regardless of golfing or not. On site restaurants/cafes a little too expensive if staying on site. Recommend hiring a car to get out and explore local vicinity/restaurants etc. overall fantastic hotel for a family or couples.

The staff is exceptional. I want feeling well, and the manager asked the chef to make me chicken soup. INCREDIBLE! The service, cleanliness and spectacular view was a delight.

Amazing sized clean room and the breakfast was delicious! Would reccomend!

What a beautiful place to stay. Really nice rooms and use of a full kitchen. Couldn’t ask for anything more. I can’t stop saying positive things about the looks, the comfort and the service. My only downside is the lack of soundproofing. Unfortunately we were kept up until our wake up time of 5 AM, just as the last of the party goers were heading away.

Excellent spot. Stayed for 2 nights. Close to everything. Clean and modern. Good place to enjoy Faro from. Can walk anywhere you need to go.
