Porte de Paris Fishing Holidays

Absolutely wonderful hotel and location! Our room was beautiful and very comfortable, the curtains separating the bathroom and the bedroom areas created a chique and romantique atmosphere, the windows gave on the green treetops and the tops of the buildings opposite the street, and overall everything was great. The windows isolate all street noise away, so it was quiet at night. The staff was very sweet and welcoming. And the area! What a fantastic area. Beautiful architecture, lots of places to eat nearby, yet quiet and away from the crowds. Easy to get everywhere on foot or on metro.

Staff were so friendly and helpful when I arrived early stored my bags emailed me when the room was available early and had moved my luggage into the room. Not common in France.

Before we could check in, we were asked if we had the right hotel from the front desk lady. One night we decided to hang in the lobby it was some weird sketchy activity going on. He had guys coming in collecting things and leaving. It was like 12/1am. Other than that the room was nice, hotel was close to a lot of restaurants convenient stores and arc de troimphe

There are many restaurants in the area of the hotel that are quite good, and a market with amazing fresh fruit. The Eiffel Tower is about a 2 mile walk away if you enjoy walking. The room was clean, but only a double bed, staff was not very friendly, and the hallway is completely dark until you are a few steps in to trigger the lights- this was scary and unsafe to me.

Did not have breakfast so I couldn't judge that. However teh bar area had no life. If you could find a bar tender you could get a drink, but since there was hardly anyone there the bar was abandoned. Supposed to be open until 11, but one night at 10 the reception guy said" He went home!". We had a great room, in a fairly central area to lots of things in Paris, but I would not stay here next time. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay the place is nice. We were looking for a bit of activity and maybe some interaction.

I stayed here with my twin daughters to celebrate their birthday, and we had an amazing time. The accommodations were wonderful, the hospitality was great, and the service was truly immaculate. Everything made our stay feel special and memorable. We hope to stay again in the future!
