staff was fantastic and we loved our soaking tub/partial water view room!

Room was tiny (as expected right here on the beach) but spotless. Most of all, the location is incredible, and the staff incredibly helpful. We had many hours after checking out of our room while waiting the airport, and the staff let us continue to use all the hotel amenities, including the incredible pool and view over Copacabana Beach from the sky deck. Six stars out of five!

Amazing hotel little far from the many places but worth it for the money.

The location of the hotel is great, it’s right across the street from the beach! The view from the rooftop patio is also mazing!! However the room, common areas, and breakfast are not ideal ( at least not for an 4 star hotel) Our room was clean, but it needed updating, and maintenance. The carpet in the hallways was really old and had a smell to it.

We had a great stay! The view is amazing. The front desk staff was excellent and provided recommendations of where to eat. We stayed in the suite and it was wonderful. Great food at breakfast and at the bar. Rio is now one of our favorite destinations. Diego at the roof top bar is the best!! Go Bills!!

BATHROOM with a leak. The issue was Reported no action taken. Restaurant service good, quality of food 6 of 10. Breakfats buffet ok. Front end service staff friendly.

Stay Dates: Dec 30, 2025 – Jan 2, 2026 Unfortunately, my experience with both the Benidorm Hotel and Expedia was very disappointing. The hotel is undergoing major renovations, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. The property felt messy due to construction, with dust/powder on the floors. Our toilet was loose and unstable; I reported it to reception, but nothing was done. Additionally, both the hotel pool and the gym pool were not working. While access to a pool at the hotel across the street was offered, this was not communicated in advance. Guests should be clearly informed about unavailable amenities before arrival. There was also a serious issue with our reservation. I entered that my child is 13 years old, but upon arrival I was told Expedia listed him as under 5. Because of this discrepancy, I was charged nearly US$600 extra. When booking, I tried correcting his age, but the system kept reverting to the incorrect information, which was very frustrating. Eventually, the age seemed to be correct but to my surprise, during check-in, it was not! Overall, the lack of transparency, unexpected charges, and unavailable amenities made this a very disappointing experience.
