A wonderful experience which is all to do with the location and the staff.

We were originally booked in Lucerne, but after a less-than-ideal hotel experience, we made a last-minute switch to Villa Honegg—and it did not disappoint. Perched high on a hill, the staff greeted us with warmth and impeccable service from the moment we arrived. The views were breathtaking, and even our mountainside room felt serene and luxurious. Amenities: 5 stars. Food: 5 stars (dinner and breakfast were both exceptional). Staff: 5 stars. And yes—there’s a distinct cow scent drifting off the veranda (welcome to the Swiss Alps!), but you quickly get used to it. Overall, a truly memorable stay and one we’d return to in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay in Andermatt. We were in walking distance to everything. My kids loved the sofa bed. It was huge ! We were greeted by the manager who waited for us since we were stuck in traffic. Only downside was the train station which you could hear if you are a light sleeper.

The hotel is well situated near to the main train station and well connected to the bus and tram lines. The hotel was very clean and the family room was very comfortable offering two single beds for our two children (aged 16 and 11). Breakfast was delicious which we enjoyed in the summer terrace. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and polite with great recommendations for restaurants.

Magnificent in every way. The spa was relaxing with excellent services. The food was exquisite- we tried all of the restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The Dolder Grand is a magical place!
