Beautiful property in a quiet countryside location! The service was impeccable. We had dinner at the hotel 2 nights in a row and the cuisine was exquisite. The pool was very enjoyable after spending the day in Piacenza and surrounding towns. We will be back!

Stayed here 2 nights, lots of decent restaurants within walking distance. Spa was very nice but busy, massage was fine.
Great location to Parma and Modena, nice boutique hotel would definitely stay here again

This is one of our favorite hotels in the world. It is Old-World glam, and was a favorite of Ernest Hemingway's. The dining and hospitality are wonderful. We also love the sweet town of Stressa, set on Lago Maggiore. We went Baromee island hopping to beat the heat. The ferry stop was a few minutes stroll from the Hotel. Was all in all an unforgettable experience - and our second time there. We willbe back! .
