The room was dim w/lights lacking in closet area. There was smudges on the bathroom door frame that I wiped clean with a Kleenex. The bathroom counters looked dusty, as if there were dried water marks. Considering it was a darker granite color/design, maybe it just needed to be cleaned w/ something else. There wasn't enough towels for my reservation of 3. one of the bath towels had visible dirt markings that didn't look like it was a stain but actual crust of mud/makeup? It was nice walking into the hotel but the "gold" elevators weren't shiny & bright. Visible scratches/smudges. The button trying to go down on my floor wasn't visible so nobody can tell if the button is working or activated. The pool area wasn't cleaned. Used it later in the evening with no other guests occupying it and there was pitchers of beer and cups around the Jacuzzi and towels all over lounging chairs and floor. It was like this both nights I stayed. The gym has nice equipment but there were no wipes in the tub for it. Overall, next time I'd stay elsewhere even if it isn't as convenient as this one, which is right off the freeway. It's location is in a convenient spot with outside amenities like shopping center that has Starbucks right across the street and McDonald's not too far. I can't vouch for the restaurant on site but it was pretty busy throughout the day compared to other places I've stayed. Overly priced for a Continental buffet breakfast IMO. Cookies were good, no nutfree option.

Pros: Hotel is brand new and has nice amenities such as two pools, a gym, and a bar. Our unit was spacious and clean. The kitchen was equipped with all items we needed for cooking and eating (e.g., pots, plates and cutlery). The hotel is only a few mins from the strip. Cons: The walls are very thin; you can hear people having conversations in the adjacent unit. The beds are somewhat hard and make a lot of squeaky noises. The shower door only covers half of the shower stall and so water tends to spill on the floor. To open doors in the halls, you need to use the hotel app or a physical room key, and often times, we were unable to open the doors because the app or key failed to work.

My husband and I checked into the Flamingo, and immediately we regretting our choice. The hotel is outdated by at least 20 years. The bathroom was disappointing, the shower was a challenge, the fact that there was ONLY 1ply toilet paper is disturbing. Good thing we always travel with bathroom wipes otherwise I would have been even more disappointed. The shower gel in the bathroom was the lowest quality, the hand soap was also wickedly inadequate. The bed was both too firm and too soft at the same time There were holes in the carpet and on the furniture and the the carpets. The onsite dining options were also subpar. The only high point was RuPaul' Drag Race show, that was exceptional. The fact that such a historic hotel on the strip has allowed itself to deteriorate was upsetting. We will be back to Vegas but I can assure you, we will never step foot in the Flamingo again. Lesson learned. My advice for you, save your money and stay ANYWHERE else. Outside of the Drag show, the only other thing that was surprisingly refreshing was the staff. Somehow I felt they knew the facility was not up to our standards and they did everything in their power to offset it.
