Island Colony was a great place to stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with cookware, toiletries, towels, and even beach chairs and a backpack cooler. I loved the patio view and enjoyed relaxing out there. The pool, hot tub and sauna were clean and relaxing, and security felt solid. The only downside was parking -- the kiosk instructions are confusing, and you have to use separate elevators for the garage and rooms. Definitely ask staff for help the first time. I'd stay again, I truly enjoyed the room and its amenities. Very convenient location. Parking isn't the owners fault -- just something to be aware of. Parking is definitely cheaper if you go for the 5 days. $235/5 days vs $47/nightly. 4/5 Wonderful Room

Overall clean but for luxury, minor details could be attended to. Like chaulk in bathroom(moldy or soap residue), plants look sick in the hallway of the club rooms, could use bug repellent plants, as the gnats and mosquitoes were rampant). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Amenities were great as well.

Really fantastic stay. As mentioned by others, the staff really goes above and beyond. Fantastic rooms. Super spacious. Didnt hear noises from other rooms. Convenient location quick block from the beach and many restaurants near by but not too crowded in the heart of downtown.

What a lovely experience. The place is full of nostalgia and history. The food was pricey and darn good. The breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and warm. The beach is absolute perfection. We swam in the clear warm water and went out on a catamaran that was fun. In the bar we heard the best local singer Johnny Valentine so musical The mushroom pesto pasta was incredible. My wife says she fell in love with the place and cried when we left.

I had corner unit so I overlooked at Bay great firework show on Friday night from Balcony loud cruisers in evening with blaring music heard all the way up to 16th floor not in properties control, Shopping Ala Moana mall almost attached convenient bridge to walk across with out have to cross streets

Hotel was very clean. The amenities were bare minimum. Not enough to justify the large resort fee they charge. The bedroom blankets were very thin and not very comfortable. The location was great though. 10 minute walk to the beach and right on the main strip of Waikiki
