We drove from Amsterdam to Cologne, Germany. Great location for one night. We visit cologne cathedral and other places. The next day we drove to our destination of Luxembourg. Stay at the best western on victor huge. Highly recommend.

The hotel itself was comfortable and clean. But we were told breakfast was included in our reservation and that is why we chose to eat it and when we left, we were hit with a large bill for breakfast and told that it was not included. It wasn’t worth the price of breakfast, we would not have had it if we had not been told it was included in our stay. Rooms did not have any fridges or coffee. We also recharged with extra city tax when we checked out.

It was a wonderful experience, the location was very central and the rooms were clean.

Clean. Ideally located. Close to everything. Loved it.

The room itself was okay with good beds and bathroom. However mine was facing a side another building 1 meter away and I had to keep my blinds shut the whole time. Housekeeping services very variable. Sometimes no coffee or milk replacements. Don’t really go to extra lengths to clean the room. Corridor carpets seemed filthy and the corridor was smelly. Boutique type hotel. Basic breakfast. Seemed a bit pricey. Receptionists absent most times.

Great location. If you get a nice room, it's wonderful. Our first night was in a room off the lobby and on street level.Very loud but hotel was kind and was able to move us next night. Hptel has nice bar. Good restaurants. Friendly staff.

Overall, the experience was good, but there were a few areas that could be improved. The hotel itself has an older charm and was generally comfortable for our stay. However, the housekeeping service was inconsistent, and the cleaning staff did not always meet expectations. Customer service was also somewhat frustrating at times. Whenever we needed assistance or requested something for our room, we often had to call the front desk multiple times before receiving a response. That said, I want to give credit where it’s due. The gentleman who checked us in was excellent…friendly, professional, and very welcoming. He made a great first impression and was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, the hotel was acceptable, but improvements in housekeeping and responsiveness to guest requests would make a significant difference.

Very nice place! Walking distance to most everything. Perfect location
