I booked our room through Expedia and specifically chose the accessible room with a roll in shower but upon check-in, was offered a shower chair instead. My wife is pregnant so that was supposed to be a non-negotiable but they didn’t actually have that type available, apparently. Also, they are doing major renovations and blocked off a big part of the lobby. The route to the elevator is super weird and dark. The big iconic waterfall part of the pool was closed off too. The pools were really nice and maintained well but they closed the slide early. I think hotels should be required to disclose that they have ongoing renovations underway while booking. It was a nice location and overall nice stay but I wouldn’t stay there again. Thank goodness our room was nice and clean and right by the elevator.

Rooms have become outdated since my last visit. Bathtub not sealed around basin, mold in corners and wallpaper that has had water damage and is coming off the wall itself. Staff were either very helpful and friendly or the complete opposite which again isn’t the standard that this hotel should settle for, especially at the prices they are charging. Pool, spa and recreational area is second to none. I would wait until they update the place and get new management to address unhappy worker, before I stay there again. There are way too many choices to settle for rude staff.

Staff took care of our room every day and it felt great to return back to our room ar night with it reset and cleaned. The pool was great. We loved our view and would enjoy that same view again. I would recommend this location to anyway who wants to be on beach. That was the best part.
