Each and every member of the staff were excellent. Helpful, caring and kind. We were only there one night, but the room was conveniently located on mail floor allowing easy access to the welcoming patio garden. The room was well equipped and a very good and comfortable size. The continental breakfast available had many options and all delicious!

The main conceirge saved our lives by fixing a train reservation I had completely fumbled - he found us a far better train, at a far better price, and helped us navigate the difficult reservation system. we would not have been able to do without him. other travelers told us they had taken the front desks help in many other ways all to excellent effect, as well. We will definitely come back some time, and tell our friends to do the same! Cindy

Hotel in a great location for the old town attractions. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. On the downside, the shower was too compact and no door to retain the water from splashing on the floor. The breakfast offering appear to be limited, if you did not want the continental.

Convenient location, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great dining options on site, clean and large modern room. Perfect hotel experience.

Regarding the location, it is by a train station but note that it is far away from the main train station “Lyon Part Dieu”. Also note that the train station it is by is under construction, so be prepared to hear banging and machinery at work around 7:00 each morning if your room faces the street. Also there is a large homeless encampment right beside the hotel and the train station. Despite this I felt safe and there were no concerns of belligerent people. Reception was friendly and even though the air conditioning was broken the first night of my stay, they provided a standalone fan for my room and gave me a partial refund on that night’s rate after I requested such. The room itself was small but adequate. There were several black marks on the walls which were unsightly (looked almost like squished bugs). The door on the shower was misaligned so water would spill out onto the bathroom floor each time I used it. The wifi speed was fast and useful for streaming videos. Overall there are several aspects that could be improved but this was a serviceable room for my trip.
