The staff was friendly. The premises were well kept. But common sense hospitality was completely missing. Because we were only staying one night, they gave us a room directly in front of the pickle ball courts. People were using it and blasting loud music until after 1:15 in the morning. The staff knew what they were doing. I can look past the cockroach encounter and even the towel mishap but when staff purposefully give you a "bad room" to see if you complain or not, that's horrible customer service.

Absolutely love it. My 3rd stay in 3 years; took my siblings this time to celebrate a milestone and we all had a fabulous time; the staff, amenities, position just above the beach, beautiful tranquil gardens, children’s pool/ adult pool; warm sea; soft sand. Extensive menu in Spice cafe; upscale dining in ferringhi Grill; lounge cocktails and canapés, beach bar n restaurant; can’t fault anything; would’ve loved to have stayed longer; staff went over and above to make the birthday and our stay memorable; will be back; pools and sitting areas in and outside were pristine; security guards made one feel safe when wandering and enjoying the tranquillity, ambiance and peace. Thank you all.

The Danna is a small(ish) hotel that trades on its beachfront location and luxurious rooms. We were very happy there during our five night stay. Each of the three restaurants offers decent food and generous portions. The pool area is comfortable, although some maintenance may be required soon. All the staff are lovely. It’s a fine place either to do nothing or to go birdwatching or kayaking. Given the quality of the product the price is more than reasonable. My only criticism is that there needs to be a separate pool area for kids - otherwise the adults who just want to relax will find their day disrupted.
