The hotel is a 1 KM walk from the amphitheatre. From there another.8 KM to the river. Really walkable and lots to see. We came in with a rental car and parking was difficult. The standard rooms are smaller than we had been staying in. The hotel is in a historic building and we'll curated with significant art. The staff is super friendly and helpful

What truly sets it apart, however, is the exceptional service. Check-in was seamless, transportation and dinner reservations were handled effortlessly, and every staff member I met was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. My room was comfortable and inviting, complete with a separate sitting area that added to its sense of calm and space. One moment perfectly captured the spirit of the place: I had a very early flight, and as I waited in the lobby for my taxi, the doorman quietly appeared with a steaming cup of coffee and two croissants—completely unprompted. That thoughtful gesture summed up my entire stay: gracious, personal, and infused with old-world care. A truly beautiful and memorable experience—I’d recommend it without hesitation.
