Love the old charm and the new Amenities

This property and the folks within it, are truly gems! Conveniently located, we were amazed to be in the heart of Colombo one second, and in a beautifully manicured garden with a perfectly designed pool surrounded by large trees and fauna. Our room was nestled tastefully in this oasis to provide us a serene and peaceful experience. Everything slowed down for us as soon as we arrived. The two owners, Christoff and Pascal, have obviously worked hard to build a personal and relaxing experience for their guests by creating this unique environment in their boutique hotel, and by filling it with staff that are very good at what they do. They all went above and beyond for us. We dined several times while staying and we found both the food and the wine selections to be extensive and perfectly prepared. Both owners and staff are obviously dialed in on the needs of the hospitality industry, as they provide their guests with both service and accommodation that exceed expectations. Folks, this is a 10/10 and we would highly recommend this wonderful establishment to all! We have already booked our next stay and are looking forward to it! Enjoy!

The staff at this hotel are exceptional; I've never encountered such helpful service during my travels through over 30 countries. They go above and beyond to assist. When I booked a car and the driver was delayed, the staff quickly ordered another one through their phone and guided the driver exactly where to go. Despite being a little late for our intercity train, their support was outstanding—they even texted me to confirm I boarded the train. I didn’t miss it. That’s how caring they are. They are truly some of the best staff in the world.😍😍

The property looks lovely in reception. Staff were welcoming on arrival but not so during our stay. Our room was clean but needs maintenance. Toilet leaked water along bathroom floor and curtains not hooked up properly so were too difficult to close. There is a Do Not Disrurb switch in amongst the light switches, unmarked, and ours was accidentally turned on so our room was not cleaned. No compendium in the room so we were unaware of the switch. Housekeeping did come up at 8pm after I called reception and the young man was fabulously helpful and explained the switch to us. Coffee shop is only with alcohol. Bakery cashier was very grumpy and unhelpful. The hotel is in a great position in Colombo but is noisey at night. We didn’t use any restaurants in the hotel. Large shopping centre 10mins walk.

A bit late but we had a great stay. Highlight was Kumara the yoga teacher who adjusted the level as i was the only one that turned up. Guys around the resturant pool were good. And the office lady who helped me off site when she was walking hone and i had an issue.
