Hotel Locarno is an absolute gem. Steeped in history and maintaining an air of grace and splendour that is rare these days. This is a true grand dame. Impeccable service, impeccable beauty, impeccable cleanliness, impeccable cocktails, an impeccable sleep and an impeccable breakfast. I’ve been aching for service like this again, never change.

The property had a pool which was why I booked it, it looked nice. The rooms were basic, no usual kettle/tea/coffee in rooms. Really nice big balcony but no seating or tables or drying rack, just a big empty space. Far from main places and bus/metro can be difficult to use. Very expensive for taxis, even Uber, especially to and from airport. Had to walk lots.

The front desk staff were incredible. Gave me wonderful suggestions for restaurants, even arranging for a restaurant to surprise me with a special birthday dessert. Breakfast is incredible. Beautiful view ftom my top floor room. Excellent location.

A beautiful building with tasteful architecture and interior design, smiling service, comfortable room: definitely a place we would recommend highly, and return to!
