My room was incredibly dusty and looked as if it had never been vacuumed. Did not feel like a 4 star hotel.

Great location. Close to excellent shopping and restaurants. Easy walk to Flatiron and Chelsea. The hotel is undergoing a renovation so make sure to ask how that might impact your experience.

You couldn’t find a better place to stay in mid-town. Close to everything and a lovely hotel. Quiet, elegant, great service. We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Great restaurants and sites in walking distance too.

All staff we came into contact with from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast/happy hour to doormen were super attentive, very friendly and seemed to sincerely see us. The happy hour/dinner and breakfast provided surprisingly good food, lots of variety and very generous pours! Sonia was a standout and we looked forward to seeing her each evening. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Room nicely appointed and clean.

I was pretty surprised how quickly this place has gone downhill in just the last 12-18 months given it’s still a relatively new property.

Hidden fees and small bathrooms that didn’t feel as expensive as the room was

Great location!! Beautiful blend of modern and historical design. Lots of original/restored details. Much character in this hotel. Comfortable beds. The chevron wood floors are very pretty but an area rug underneath the bed for comfort would be nice and add visual grounding for the rooms. The private attached terrace offers *Rare* exceptional views.

The rooms are clean…no washcloth was provided in bathroom
