Anniversary trip was perfect

Great lobby and location. Loved that each floor needed key access which made it feel secure. There were great restaurant options to choose from, although I wish they had more vegan and vegetarian options. The asian restaurant had no vegetarian options which was somewhat surprising. I would say they need to tend to peoples dietary needs more. Other than that, it was a busy hotel and well maintained. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was great! It did get loud on the weekend so be prepared for outdoor concerts, the rooms did not have much sound proofing in the tower we were in.

Terrible check in process - horrendous long line..

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and the service was top tier except for checkout. I was called to checkout but there was some confusion with the guest in front of me as to which front desk associate was helping who. I was forced to go back in line and made to wait some more which was confusing and embarrassing.

We received an upgrade to a suite when we arrived. The room was very nice and very clean. The view was amazing! We could see the strip from floor to ceiling. My only complaint is that there needs to be a partition between the bedroom and bathroom area because the light in the early morning coming from the windows in the bathroom was brutal after a night out.

Though this place is away from strip, I like the fact that it is. No rush of people around. This place is big with several pools and they have 2 hot saunas right next to the adult only pool which is nice! There’s a breakfast/ diner in the premises. A bit pricey but convenient. Several other restaurants as well. I saw the Wow show which was wonderful! I recommend. I wish I did the mystery dinner. Looks like a lot of fun. There’s a Smash burger in the facility as well. I love the luckily restaurant which had oyster happy hour! There is a lot in this Rio resort. The rooms are huge! Very clean and all the amenities like shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, and body cream too. Not disappointed.

What breakfast? There isn’t even a real lobby with chairs and coffee. This was the most Motel hotel I’ve stayed in ever. All there is is a casino that I noticed. Every last food or drink place had an insufferable line of doom. The windows were so dirty that you couldn’t imagine more dirt hanging on to that slick surface of you tried. That free parking though. Mint. Unless you don’t get the memo and try to walk to your car from outside. Good luck with that.
