The whole experience was fantastic! The chalets are much more spacious than the pictures and the breakfast is plentiful. The staff are lovely and helpful and it is a great location. We used Grab a lot to get around which was great value for money and the people are really friendly. We did have geckos in the room and squirrels running over the chalets at night but that was all part of the charm.

The Danna is a small(ish) hotel that trades on its beachfront location and luxurious rooms. We were very happy there during our five night stay. Each of the three restaurants offers decent food and generous portions. The pool area is comfortable, although some maintenance may be required soon. All the staff are lovely. It’s a fine place either to do nothing or to go birdwatching or kayaking. Given the quality of the product the price is more than reasonable. My only criticism is that there needs to be a separate pool area for kids - otherwise the adults who just want to relax will find their day disrupted.

Amazing stay in Tanjung Rhu resort, the hotel, the see view, the scenery, everything was just perfect!!
The food (breakfast and dinner) were very qualitative.
The pools very nice.
I can only recommend this amazing hotel that is perfectly sized.

Very nice hotel, excellent staff and very close to the airport free shuttle. If you wanted to you could probably walk. It’s about a block away. Would highly recommend if you have an overnight stay with a connecting flight.
