We use to visit Cable Beach many years ago. My favorite thing was ditting on the balcony and listen to the waves. Now, not only can you not hear, but you cant see the beach.
I paid for ocean view, and what i got was the view of a big pink hotel right in front of me, and listening to its air handler 24/7. Not only os that hotel there, they have placed a water park, several pools and a large parking lot between Grand Baja Mar and the beach
And dont get me started on prices! 5 glasses of wine, and 1 mixed drink $178, a large pizza $80, and 4 pastries and 2 coffees $100. We will not be going back.

The hotel is gorgeous. If you’re looking for a quite relaxing vacation this hotel is a good pick. They have beautiful rooms with well equipped kitchens. The infinity pool is very nice. There’s not much else to do the hotel lacks activities. Not a lot of restaurant options within the hotel. And what is available the food wasn’t great, and expensive. Be aware of the time share “free breakfast” from luxury living. That’s a total scam and should not be permitted on the hotel premises. They lure you to sign up and later try to sell you a $28,000 package. That was a big turn off to return to this hotel .
