Great hotel, but without staff

Excellent all around! Great, quiet rooms. Excellent location. Amazing breakfast!

This property was very clean and comfortable

The Clarion Hotel in Oslo was a perfect choice and met all of our expectations for a city hotel, and more. First location....right next to the main rail station so only a 5 to 10 minute walk after the express train from the airport. It's also very close to the main attractions, the harbour, swimming areas and shopping areas. All in all perfect. Second, the hotel. Excellent rooms, very clean and well presented. Lovely bathroom, very comfortable bed. The only thing I'd like is a bigger space to stash a suitcase, but that's very picky! Thirdly, breakfast. I rarely expect much from an inclusive buffer breakfast...but this was superb! Everything you could want - cooked breakfast (bacon, egg, sausage, etc), cold meat & cheese, pickles, breads, smoothies, herring, mackerel, fruit, pastries, coffee & tea - and really well presented. Plenty of seating (only busy on the one day we went down later, after 9:00am). Overall, this is a fantastic modern city hotel in a great location. Highly recommended! Mark

Sommerro is a modern, well-designed five-star hotel in a convenient location — close to public transport and walking distance to the harbor. The hotel has good dining options, and the breakfast was excellent. A great choice for a comfortable stay in Oslo.
