PROS: Large room facing the swimming pool. Helpful staff. Amazing breakfast. Good gym equipment with ping-pong table. Free hourly airport shuttle. CONS: AIRPORT IS 25 MINUTES AWAY. NOT 2.8 MILES AS ADVERTISED BUT MORE LIKE 8 MILES AND SUBJECT TO TRAFFIC. The TV in my room was old and very cheap, with only local channels and no media streaming options or working USB connection. The bathroom sink was clogged, even worse, the water pressure constantly switches between low and high approximately every 30 seconds, and the water temperature changes at the same time, making it very difficult to take a comfortable shower. There is only one restaurant in the hotel, and it is quite expensive. There is absolutely no shopping, restaurants, or anything of interest within the immediate vicinity. The hotel is also quite far from Bangkok, so the location is inconvenient if you want to explore the city. Overall, I found the hotel with too many basic problems and an inconvenient location. I would not stay here again and definitely cannot recommend it.

A great stay but always cheaper to book online with Expedia rather than at reception. Reception charges almost twice as much grrrr.

We booked a room based on the pictures provided when making the reservation. However, when we arrived, we were not given the room we had booked. We were shown four different rooms, all of which looked the same, and none matched the room we had originally selected. We were then informed that the room we had booked was actually already occupied/booked out and that we would not be able to stay in the room we had paid for. This was extremely disappointing, as the room we received was not what was advertised or what we had booked based on the pictures provided.

I have stayed at Centre Point Silom several times. This time was the worst experience. Had to beg daily to get bath towels delivered. Sometimes they would only deliver one towel when 2 people were staying in the room. I spent 8 nights there. Upon checkout I was informed one of the towels was extra dirty. They proceeded to charge me 941 bhat which is like $30. US dollars. I also asked for a metered cab to the airport. The bellman interceded and was telling me he could get a fixed rate cab for 500. Bhat. When the meters cab is only three hundred bhat. The host began pushing the fixed taxi price as well. Felt extremely Scammed on my last day in Thailand. Will never visit or refer my friends to this hotel ever again!
