I was disappointed with the customer service during my stay. The hotel staff were not welcoming and rarely smiled when interacting with guests. In addition, it was very difficult to reach the front desk, as phone calls often went unanswered when assistance was needed. Good customer service is an important part of the guest experience, and unfortunately, I felt that the level of service provided did not meet expectations. I hope management will address these issues and improve staff responsiveness and guest relations.

Amazing hotel close to everything and amazing buffet every morning

The hotel is location is great. Walking distance to multiple restaurants in Montreal city center. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. There was water interruption one night around 11pm but with enough advanced notice. Breakfast was included in my reservation but I didn’t get to go for it. Might be next time when I visit Montreal again. Would certainly stay hear again.

Excellent central place to stay which exudes opulence. The staff will literally offer to help you in any way possible. Rooms are extremely spacious, clean, and well looked after. The beds are also extremely comfy. You can see why it has a five star rating. However there are two major elements that let the hotel down. One is the ridiculously high $200 a night Security Deposit. The biggest bugbear however would be the extremely cramped and very basic bathrooms in the rooms themselves. While the rooms are decadent and scream 5 star luxury, the bathrooms would struggle to reach 3 star status, and of all the hotel chains I have stayed in, even the likes of Premier Inn and Travelodge offer better bathroom facilities. In conclusion go for the history, the luxury, the staff, the location, but avoid if you want that luxury to extend to the bathroom. For us, the pros far far outweigh the cons
