Suite rooms are huge and beautifully decorated. Beds are firm though. Hotel is located in a start district with nice restaurants nearby. Rooms are excellent value for money. Sadly the Barman tried to rip us off by serving a high class wine when we ordered house wine. We had 12 glasses between a group of friends so the price difference was huge so beware. Breakfast was dreadful. Pastries were stale and eggs were full of salt. You’re be better having the Indian curry buffet.

The property is overrated. Not so good food and the property is like halveli and Mahal. No outside view

The Shakun hotel is well located in the city and just slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the main road; it's great for tour pick-ups and grabbing an Uber to dinner in the evening. The hotel is a little dated and perhaps not quite as grand as it once was. We travelled outside of peak season and it felt like the staff had been switched to a less experienced team who perhaps weren't as knowledgeable about service. However, they were always really friendly when we approached them. However, the restaurant food was great and the breakfast buffet was varied. Our room was big, spacious, really clean and attended to every day. If you're looking for a base while you spend a couple of days exploring Jaipur and aren't too worried about aesthetics of the hotel then the Shakun hotel, for the price, is worth it.

Beautiful place to stay in Jaipur. The grounds are immaculate, staff is extremely friendly, food is delicious, and rooms are spacious and comfortable. My daughter also loved the pool.

Pigeon poop ALL over our private pool… disgusting. Staff just kept apologizing throughout the stay meaning we had to constantly talk about it. Annoying. Didn’t even offer to comp our dinner bill or anything… cleaned it after we explicitly said we didn’t have time to use it (very late at night w early morning departure). I actually get the bird poop thing (nature!) but it was just handled really poorly. Would not return.
