Stuff was friendly and helpfull

Staff were very rude. No luggage carts without giving over your items to the bellman so prepare to be separated from your belongings at least an hour after your hour wait for check in. Property will charge an additional $100 on top of what is advertised here and will require an actual credit card vs a debit/prepay as is common with travelers. The rooms inside are dingy and it smells, having spent a lot of time during the Star Trek convention with other guests. Very inconvenient to get from your parking to your room and few food options after 8p. Bright spots include nice pool, free parking, a spacious area for events and few people. During the star trek convention they played TV on the spots where people used to perform; I would suggest this (with varied programs of course) nightly due to lack of other use of this area. It has a desperate and dingy vibe without the con attendees, and as soon as the groups leave, staff attitudes sour greatly in a way that is shocking to compare one days behavior to the next. 2/10 smells weird, stay at Gold Coast behind it or an off-site normal hotel for a better experience. Westgate seemed nice.
