Beautiful setting in modern, stylish hotel. The staff was over and above helpful and friendly!!! Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Castel Hörtenberg in Bolzano. The location is truly perfect—peaceful and tucked away, yet just a short walk to the heart of the city, making it ideal for exploring while still feeling like a private retreat. The entire hotel is immaculate. Every space, from the rooms to the common areas, is spotless and beautifully maintained, creating a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. They are kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating—always going above and beyond to ensure every detail of your stay is perfect. Overall, Castel Hörtenberg delivers a flawless blend of elegance, comfort, and warm hospitality. It’s the kind of place that turns a trip into an experience—and one I would return to without hesitation.

I have stayed in many 5 star properties, but have not received the level of attentiveness nor service as we have experienced at the Mont Blanc Hotel Village. The staff are truly experts at performing their respective jobs. I am literally the pickiest person when it comes to customer service and not only could I not find fault with anything here, it all exceeded my very high expectations. I am truly impressed. The accommodations are lovely in their traditional vibe, but with all of the necessary amenities (modern bathroom features, etc.). The chef is obviously skilled and the menu is very northern Italy. We have not explored the little village of La Salle as we have driven to Courmayeur to skate and ski during the day. Courmayeur is lovely and I can’t say enough about the Courmayeur Sport Complex ice rink and coaches. It was amazing being able to travel to Europe and continue my training by working with Marika Poli as my “on the road” figure skating coach. We will certainly return and bring the kids next time!

An excellent hotel with a terrific and most efficient Team. Elisa, Leonardo and the restaurant manager deserve a special mention.

The room to small and no frigo, noisy. Nut much for the price.

Overall Rating: 10/10 – Highly Recommended! I absolutely loved my stay and would recommend it wholeheartedly. The overall experience was excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. The only aspect that was disappointing was the transportation consultation service. On my last day, I approached the concierge desk to inquire about booking a reliable taxi to the Nice airport for an early morning departure. The staff member advised that booking an external taxi might be unreliable and that there was a high possibility the driver might not show up. She then offered the hostel's in-house car service for a fixed price of 250 euros for the trip. This price felt very high. We decided to go to a local taxi stand, spoke with a driver, and downloaded a local taxi app. Using the app for the same early morning trip, the actual cost was only 110 euros. I felt that the information provided by the staff member regarding the reliability of outside taxis was misleading in an effort to sell their significantly more expensive internal car service. While this was a frustrating incident, it was the only negative point in an otherwise perfect stay. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Wonderful stay! The service was excellent, the location was perfect with easy access to Monaco, and the manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our choice and would absolutely stay here again.
