Not happy with connecting flight from KUL-PKT on 27 Aug 19 as the connecting flight was changed 5 times. We arrived in KUL at 0530 and finally departed on a 1530 flight which is totally unacceptable. Our connecting flight was changed once prior to travel, at the airport when check-in and three times whilst at KUL airport including once when in the departure lounge waiting to board and our departure time was delayed due to our aircraft being reassigned. The management team in KUL let down the airline with no preparation for customers on the connecting flight when they obviously knew of the delays. To sit in an airport for 10 hours after flying all night and having no sleep due to the seat being near the toilet is totally unacceptable. Policy of Malaysia airlines, if a delay occurs more than 9 hrs they place you in a hotel. This did not occur as the third delay was placed on the departure board in the terminal 1hr prior to our departure at 1215h, which the aircraft was delayed another 2.5hrs. This gives the I impression to the customer, the airline had no intensions on placing any connecting customers in a hotel. The management do not value their employees as the lady on the Malaysian Information Desk had to deal with some very unhappy customers and without any authority, was not able to assist in compensating the customers. A note should be placed on your website that 31 August is Malaysia's Independence Day and the King request everyone completes a rehearsal at least 4 days prior, and delays may occur. This is the reason our connecting flight was changed 5 times. Like I have stated, Management would have known the changes to flight schedules and should have made arrangements for all connecting passengers regardless of the number of passengers.
