"Character property with friendly helpful staff opposite small beach near the harbour. Walkable in a few minutes to main beach and town. Road in front quite busy but room was double-glazed so this wasn’t an issue. Breakfast available, no dinner but plenty of restaurants nearby. "

"Le ménage n'avait pas été fait, les draps pas changés, des insectes morts sur les serviettes de bain Certains équipements étaient vétustes ou très abîmés (prise électrique et couverts notamment) Un geste a été fait et le ménage aussi une fois signalé à la réception, mais cela reste une expérience très désagréable à mon goût. Heureusement que la ville est jolie."

"Perched high above Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the views are terrific. The rooms are exquisitely and thoughtfully furnished. The villa itself is like a museum with an endless and fascinating collection of art and objects. The breakfast was delicious and served by the owner himself. Although the weather was too chilly to sit outdoors, had it been warmer, it would have been an ideal place to lounge and enjoy the pool. Parking is on the street, but it was not a problem. Highly recommend for an experience...
