"Huge place that looks like a medieval castle The rooms are large, spacious and clean Breakfast very nice Also nice little pool and hot tub. In the evening there was a love band in the central courtyard and We had dtinks outside which was great. Only small downside was the gym which was disappointing. One ancient tiny treadmill that was broken, on pair of dumbell weights, etc. Not on the level of the rest of the facilities... Nice pleasant hotel. "

"Fantastic hotel set in an 800 year old castle. Stunning building, rooms beautifully furnished with all amenities, delightful castle grounds, magnificent setting for the restaurant with quality food. Breakfast excellent too. Difficulty with room keys on arrival and had to return to reception for replacements. On entering room discovered that room was not as originally booked on hotels.com website. After again returning to reception and lengthy dialogue with staff that our room was incorrect...

"First let me say I stay in hotels all over the world frequently and different countries have different standards. Front desk staff was great for check in and check out. Room was large and clean even if dated. Tennis tournament going on next door but was enjoyable to watch from balcony. Breakfast coffee was very good, but food options were very limited. Seemed to be low season there as everything was closed or on limited hrs. If restaurant didn't have customers, they just closed. Maid service for...

"This hotel is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. There is a seating area that they provide with a coffee/snack area, along with a breakfast area. This hotel is up the hill with restaurants nearby. Since parking is provided - use this space and walk around as there is little parking available in town."
