The apartment was great. Plenty of room. The cafe downstairs is good and the staff there were helpful. Access was easy and the ability to use the laundry came in really handy for us after a month of travel. Would definitely stay here again

Property location was excellent. Within walking distance to Main Street Bahnhofstrasse and Zurich Main Train Station. In addition, on the first floor of the building there is a restaurant La Lup which is very convenient and great ambience to have a cup of hot chocolate, orange juice, espresso and breakfast too.

best for young travelers who don’t mind being on a slightly noisy street (the rooms also have VERY thin walls, so you hear your neighbors, but that didn’t bother me). incredibly clean and modern. the only thing was the shade in the bathroom didn’t close, so the toilette was viewable from the street, i just hung up a towel to cover it and it worked just fine. overall great stay. felt very safe as a solo female traveler.

I stayed at BR301 for five nights. The room is basically clean and confortable, but I had a water leak from a shower room's door. I think it should be repaired soon.

The property is generally good, and provides what you need. The lobby restaurant was never open after 3pm regardless of what was posted. The air conditioning in the room could not cool the room but we could open multiple windows at night to help cool the room. They only had one pillow each, so could use another pillow. The room was a good size for two people but only had one chair, so it could use another chair. It is quite close to central Zürich and Selnau station (350 m away and one stop to Zürich main station), so options to walk downtown (10 min), or take the train.

The property was very clean and in a great location. The bathroom set up was awful. The toilet was separate from the shower, and the blinds didn't fully close so people could see you using the toilet. There was no manual on how to use the air con system, this had to be requested online. Unfortunately I had a noisey neighbour who had a very creaky floor and smoked a lot so the smell would come into my room. Not great.

No staff assistance/lack of safety &privacy

We arrived early at the hotel and there’s no front desk to assist us.We have to wait till 3pm for check in so we did.By the time we check in , the restaurant staff assisted us asking our room access and booking #.We have no idea all those info or access we have in that hotel.What I know this is a hotel and apartment ,on why there’s no staff available who assist us.The elevator is too small not even enough for a luggage and 1person. The toilet has no privacy ,the floor is not safe….an elderly might tripped on it…lack of safety and precautions.

Don’t Bring A Baby

The Portuguese staff member working in the restaurant was wonderful and truly helpful. But sadly this place wasn’t great for us, as we have a baby. If we were just a couple, then it probably would’ve been quite good. The lift is extremely small, so only good for 1 people with maybe 1 bag at a time. I couldn’t fit alone with a pushchair or a bag. We’d asked for a cot long before our stay but the hotel does not communicate through the Hotels.com contact service - which is very frustrating. The hotel’s email requesting photo ID arrived many hours after our hotels.com confirmation email, so we missed it and then had difficulty getting into our room. Lifting the baby, pram and bags up the spiral staircase is not comfortable at all. And being without a cot on our arrival night was really stressful.

The address listed is not the address you'll be staying in. It's a big company that has a bunch of properties under vision apartments. That being said, I was not contacted in advance to send my passport information before arrival. There is no "front desk" service, but it does state that you have to send your information beforehand. Since i booked through Expedia and there was no way of contacting the company, i had to call Expedia when i was overseas to get help for this. To save all of you that are thinking of staying here some headache, if you decide to book with them, email info@visionapartments.com with your passport and your receipt with whatever type of room you're staying in advance, and they'll send you the address and the code to get into the apartment and you won't have any issues. Other than this, the apartment was very nice. It was clean and we had two bedrooms with beds big enough for 2, and 2.5 bath, a kitchen, and a living room. You don't have to worry about keys since all you'll need is a code to get in. Overall very nice! Would stay in again knowing all this.

Never replied to my messages, I had to call them and incur phone charges. There were mold spots in the showers. No door on one bedroom. Low sloping ceilings. Smallest elevator ever, stopped working and we had to carry our heavy bags down 5 stories. The location was very good. Nice terrace.

Horrible air conditioning. It was so hot every night I couldn't hardly sleep. Finally, on the last night, I slept with a wet towel on me and it helped. Air was coming out of the vent but it wasn't cold. And even though the outdoor temperature was cool overnight the room was extremely hot and would not cool down even with the windows open.
