There was a challenge checking in but the staff at the restaurant assisted swiftly. Check-in is done through a machine, therefore no one to assist as there is no receptionist. Once this is done, the rest of the stay becomes very relaxing. The property is quaint, clean and beautifully decorated. Such luxurious finishes with a touch of class and comfort.

So no real staff as you check in using a machine. So early check in or someone holding our luggage was difficult. With that said, the people I did interact with were great (housekeeping, staff at the restaurant.)

This was a great hotel with spacious rooms and all the amenities for long term stay. It’s 8 minutes walk from the train station that takes you straight to central Zurich in 10 mins. There were several supermarkets at walkable distance and also some cafes and restaurants. A great place to stay which was clean, adorable and convenient!

This place is the best deal in Europe. You get a huge room a five minute walk to the HB. From there you’re looking at a ten minute ride into town. Less than half the price of anything else in the city. Everything is new, clean, and comfortable. Lots of little grocery stores and a few restaurants nearby.

No communication about where to park as this property doesn’t have a garage, but offers parking. Inquired about parking days prior to arrival and no response. My first morning in the room and half of the electrical stopped working. Could not the use microwave, couldn’t use the kettle, half the lights in my room were out. They were to have tech to come by and fix it at a said time, I waited and no one showed at said time. I couldn’t wait any longer as I had scheduled appointments to attend to. My stay was for only two nights and had a few issues. It was a bit frustrating.

Hotel was very clean, modern and updated. I wasn’t fond of the self check in due to the fact that I was having issues with the reservation number that was sent to me and most of staff spoke very little English to assist. They did allow me to leave my bags while we explored the city until our flight left which was very nice. I would definitely come back! Also, no a/c just a nice fan, luckily it wasn’t too warm in the room.

Neues, unkompliziertes und modernes Hotel

It is a rather ideal hotel to stay for one or two nights before taking a flight. Be aware of airplane noise in the morning between 6 an 7 and in the evening till 11. The windows are well isolated though. Having them closed: no problem. The small restaurant and bar a very stylish and you can eat yummy table barbecue. The bar is also nice but the barbecue taste is rather strong. Which is not so appropriate for a cozy beer or another drink.

On the expidia webpage the property says it is close to old town Zurich, but it was located in a residential area very far from the city, we had to learn how to use the train system to get there, because finding an Uber or taxi in the area became a challenge because they canceled it again and again they never arrived. For us the worst part was that they do not have air conditioning in the room, imagine at the middle of summer with no AC caused us terrible discomfort.

The room was a very nice size and aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately there were some bugs/spiders. Usually this isn't something i would complain about because its hard to avoid sometimes but there were enough for me to mention it. Our shower water also would not get warm/hot and we werent able to contact hotel staff because it was a weekend, so after long days of walking and activities we had to end with cold showers. The bathroom was very nice though. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated that they provided a high quality fan. I feel like the issues that we had are easy fixes thats why I still rated this hotel fairly high.

Loud traffic noise, rooms above restaurant

My room was directly above the restaurant of the hotel. People were smoking and my room filled with smoke. No room change possible. There is no aircon so you cannot just close window. Also room faced street and it was extremely loud traffic noise from racing cars and motorcycles during the night. Unfortunately, a very bad experience.
