We had the perfect holiday! We were lucky to be one of the first people to experience this brand new villa, and were really nicely welcomed by Miho, a truly brilliant owner and host, who had clearly poured his heart into making a beautiful holiday home. He gave us a nice intro to the local area, which set us up for the week ahead.The location in Mlini is superb, being halfway between Dubrovnik and Cavtat, but has it's own identity, with really nice restaurants, bars and beach areas along a mile-long promenade. Taxi boats are available to take you to Dubrovnik or Cavtat at very regular intervals, if you prefer to the bus. A shopping centre is in walking distance with a large supermarket, but also two much closer convenience stores and bakery. The walk up and down to the promenade keeps you fit, so weaker legs might prefer a taxi back (very cheap and easy via Uber).The (heated) pool was the highlight for our kids, who spent several hours in there every day. The outside furniture is super comfy and very high quality, and there are plenty of sunny and shaded areas at all times of the day. The interior is similarly very high standard with excellent furniture and fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms all have en suites with powerful showers, top quality mattresses, and loads of towels in every bathroom. The shutters and AC throughout also ensured we were always the right temperature.We can't wait to come back to Villa Lav Lux and explore this beautiful part of the world
