Our hosts were wonderful and greeted us upon arrival, ensuring we had what we needed and even left us homemade jam on the dining table. The accommodations were wonderful. Very clean, nice sitting area, nicely equipped kitchen, spacious and truly had everything we needed. Very convenient for us as we were visiting family on Zulpich. Parking was also very easy

A nice apartment to stay. It might be good to know that the bathroom can only be reached through the master bedroom.

This was our second stay here. We began our trip 3.5 weeks earlier, in this same spot and ended our trip here, as well. Silvia & Guido are incredibly kind and accommodating. The home was very clean and provided everything we needed! Easy to park on the street, in front of the home. Great location, near many villages and not too far from Cologne/Bonn.

Nice flat, perfect location in Nordrhein-Westfalen

The apartment is part of a larger house and the owners live in the main part of the building. It’s a wonderful house built in the early part of the 1900s and is located in Sinzenich, a charming village outside of Zülpich established in 948 A.D. It is a great place to go and stay among the locals and discover that even the small villages in Europe have a story to tell. Take a walk around town and you’ll find an old Roman church and cemetery, tasty food and drink at a nearby restaurant, excellent breakfast and lunch at a local bakery, a beer garden, and meet friendly people pretty much everywhere you go. Conveniently, a grocery store is a short distance away and Sylvia and Guido were always available to answer any questions. They even had delicious homemade preserves and lovely irises awaiting us when we arrived! Their apartment was perfect for our family of four. The kids slept in a separate bedroom… which is a nice thing when you’re on vacation because we were able get some serious rest. It really did feel like a home away from home. The flat is equipped with everything we needed (extremely comfortable beds, a clothes washer, a dishwasher, awesome German satellite tv, and a very cold refrigerator to store the tasty German beer). The location was perfect for us to take day trips to surrounding cities like Cologne and Aachen. If you’re looking for a place to relax away from the multitude of tourists in the big cities, then this is the place for you. As for us, we know that when we find ourselves booking a future trip to western Germany, we will definitely stay in Sylvia and Guido’s apartment again.

fünf schöne Tage in Sinzenich
