"Very cute, unique Hotel which was just what my husband and I needed for our first downtown Boise Trip. Really enjoyed all aspects. Close to everything needed from excellent local restaurants and coffee shops to the neighborhood Davis Park. All within walking distance and felt safe and wonderful. Very walkable, didn't see any homeless people which was so unusual for us. (*What Portland/Seattle forgot they used to be, sadly)
Weather was great so we couldn't have asked for anything better. Sun and happy hour while walking to the park and back! Wonderful!
Staff was beyond helpful and we had assigned parking which was great! Everything was seamless. Even when it was a busy time they handled each customer with care until their need was met. Rather than rushing to catch up, you felt important and seen. Haven't experienced that level of customer service in a very long time!!
We'll be back especially because it's not the usual cookie cutter hotel option! Corn hole was an added bonus, even if i lost miserable to my husband. He was happy to win!
Thank you for a wonderful experience! Very special. You even won over the sceptical husband, so that's saying alot.
We'll definitely see you next time! Thanks"
"Great value and excellent breakfast, with room for small improvements.
My family stayed two nights during a road trip. At under $200 total, it was an absolute steal. Of our trip's five hotels, this had one of the best breakfast spreads—beating a pricier "boutique" hotel that served cold food. We loved the 24/7 free beverage station and the gym's water cooler. Customer service was very positive. The front desk staff warmly greeted us whenever they weren't busy with tasks or phone calls. When we requested extra towels, pool towels, toilet paper, and a comb, they gladly provided them right away.
Our room was tidy, though we wiped down the drawers and surfaces to feel fully comfortable. The enclosed sunroom was a great surprise, but it needs chairs and a coffee table. We also needed a second chair in the main room. Furthermore, the balconies and pool area lack adequate seating and loungers. The outdoor pool was great, but the hot tub was uninviting due to floating bugs and debris. We also had minor room issues: a sticky sliding closet door, a TV stuck on a partial channel, and too few hooks and hangers. Lastly, our sink faucet had a persistent drip. I mentioned this to the front desk and a polite outdoor employee, but it wasn't fixed during our stay.
Despite these minor maintenance and cleaning notes, the value, service, and food are tough to beat. We would gladly stay again!"
Spacious downtown loft, with soaking tub&gym access-walk to BSU and Boise River!
10/10 Excellent
"The place was nice and clean, bed was soooo comfy. Aesthetically it was super cute too! Instructions were easy. ran into the host outside and she has the cutest/calmest/sweetest chocolate lab I have ever met."
"The Renegade is by far one of my new favorites in Boise. From the beautiful and very clean room to the restaurants with delishes eats to the amazing staff, we felt cared for ever second of our stay. Thank you so much for a very enjoyable stay!"
"Great hotel on west side of downtown Boise. Walking distance for good food and great coffee. Staff couldn't be more helpful. And inclusive as hell!! Bravo!"
