What is the best area to stay in Žichovice?
The best area to stay in Žichovice is within the village centre itself, particularly around the main square and the areas bordering the Otava River.

The village is relatively compact, making it easy to get around on foot, and the Otava River provides a scenic backdrop for strolls.

For families, staying near the river is an excellent choice. The riverbanks offer opportunities for gentle walks, and children might enjoy watching the water flow or even some supervised paddling in designated spots. The open spaces around the chateau grounds also provide room for children to play.
