  • The idyllic Baltic resort of Zempin lies at Usedom’s narrowest point, in the island’s centre—an ideal base for exploring by car, bike or the Usedomer Bäderbahn railway. This former fishing village has a gently shelving, stone-free Baltic beach with fine sand on one side and a romantic setting on the Achterwasser lagoon (Usedom Nature Park) on the other. The new promenade, with its large open-air stage, lies in the coastal forest near the Baltic Sea. Concerts take place regularly in summer. Watching the sunset over the Baltic from here is a special experience. As one of Usedom’s smallest seaside resorts, Zempin attracts fewer holidaymakers and tourists. It offers peace and relaxation year-round, with an almost family-like atmosphere.
