Lovely family run business
The owners are extremely welcoming and make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is excellent, including the coffee. The only slight downside for us was the size of the room which was very small, but we would definitely stay again.

See Zell am See
We had a three night stay after driving from Munich. Annie greeted us upon arrival with the biggest smile and was most insistent on letting her know if there was anything she could do for us. Remember this is a Pension not a Hotel and as such does not have all the amenities you might expect, like an elevator, so hauling a big suitcase up steep stairs can be a challenge. The room was clean and comfortable with a balcony with a table and chairs. The bathroom as expected was small but had everything we needed. The breakfast room was very nice and had a good selection of juice cereal, fruit, meats and cheeses as well as yogurt and breads and a good multi type coffee machine. The internet worked well and parking was right at the door. As for the location it was very central with a five minute walk to The Grand Hotel on the lake.

The Pension is owned and run by Annie. She was the perfect hostess, friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr lieb und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kann man nur weiter empfehlen. Direkt in der Nähe vom See und Innenstadt. Preisleistung sehr gut. Das Zimmer ist sauber und das Frühstück sehr lecker.

Accueil très sympathique. Petit déjeuner copieux Merci pour l’emplacement dans le garage pour ma moto. Attention, c'est une pension donc la chambre est un peu plus petite que dans un hôtel.

Stanza molto piccola con il bagno in corridoio, doccia sempre molto piccola. Vero che abbiamo pagato 90 euro per questa cameta in un luogo bellissimo e vicino al centro, ma ci aspettavamo qualcosina in più. La signora è gentilissima. Ci hanno fatto mettere le moto in garage senza ulteriori addebiti, tutto nella norma direi. Non abbiamo usufruito, della colazione a pagamento in loco.

Fantastic service. Very nice family hotel. Parking outside, and the breakfast was fine. I had a very small room, but it got what I needed. You get what you pay for. Short walking distance to the center. I can recommend staying here.

Cosy B&B, convenient location
The Alpenrose is located about 5 minutes walk from the lake and central Zell am See. Cosy guesthouse, free parking outside. Free wifi which was very slow. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. There is no lift in the house. We got a double room on the second floor facing away from the street which was nice. Nice balcony, but a rather noisy river runs by, so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep with the window open! Quite small room, very clean, the usual hard beds as was expected, but fine for one night. Clean bathroom, good shower. Excellent breakfast, Anna was there to explain how everything worked and made sure we had what we needed. Enjoyed our stay, convenient location, especially in winter I would think, since one of the major lifts is just down the road. Would recommend and stay again.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I be happy that you feel good in our house. For the river I have to tell it is not normal that it is so noisy but in the springtime there is smelting the snow and birng a lot of water to the river. Thanks again Anni

Eine schöne und freundliche Pension
Ein schönes Hotel fast im Zentrum von Zell a. See, nur ein paar Minuten zur Seilbahn und zum Schwimmbad und 5 Minuten ins Ortszentrum. Frau Gruber war bemüht unseren Wünschen nachzukommen und nahm sich Zeit für ein Gespräch mit uns. Saubere Zimmer, gutes Frühstück und schönes Wetter, was bleibr da an wünschen offen.
