"We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment at The House for a recent ski trip with the family. The apartment was clean & spacious and rooms were large enough. All the facilities were there to make breakfasts & dinner. Great location, literally a 3 minute walk to the City Express Gondola, where you can leave your rental skis in the depot and your ski boots in a 3 Euro/day boot locker. The only real down side was the cost of breakfast at 22 Euros per person per day, a bit steep so we bought food in from the local Spa shop and cooked in the kitchen. This would have added 550 Euros onto our bill! Definitely stay here again though."

"Travelled with a group of friends and several children. The hotel is charming, the bulk of the main building being very old with some modern additions to the rear. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. We all went half board and were well fed with good food. Breakfast was a wealth of choice, both continental and some English staples. Dinner was equally good, you could effectively have a 5 course meal every day. A great hotel in a great setting both winter and summer. Thank you so much Sabine and Family"

"This was a lovely hotel - particularly in the bar and reception area. We ate at their restaurant and the food was fabulous if a little pricey. The rooms were spacious and clean (we had a superior double) and it’s incredibly well placed in the centre of Zell am See so plenty of buses to other ski areas. The towels were a little on the small side and quite harsh and the body and hair gel was not replaced often enough so we ran out twice. Also there are no tea and coffee facilities but we asked for a kettle! Everything else was great. Ski rental is nearly opposite and train station only a few minutes walk away. Hotel staff very helpful."

"An exceptional property in a very convenient location in town. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops but nice and quiet. The room is kitted out with quality furnishings. We also enjoyed the pool and saunas after a day skiing. We opted for a suite to give us space for our 16 year old son. We didn’t cook, although the kitchen was very well equipped. However, we did enjoy a few take aways at the dining table. We would stay again!"
