Great location if you want to been the south of the city - very close to the Amsterdam South train station. Overall, a nice clean hotel ideal for business travel with short stays. Only downside was that there was just 1 member of staff at the bar and took a very long time to get served. Its a shame you cannot order food to your room.

This hotel is not bad but doesn’t really live up to the hype. The room was so small that I couldn’t find any space on the floor to open my suitcase. There are large visible scuff marks and scratches along the walls and doors all over the property, which leaves the impression that the hotel has seen better days. The breakfast is pretty good but would benefit from more healthy or low-fat options. (The machine that squeezes fresh orange juice is pretty great though.) Pros: The pillow menu is a genuinely fantastic perk and the pillows are excellent. The beds are also quite comfortable (which is good since there’s not much room in the room for anything else.) The hotel had plenty of good qualities but not enough to make me want to stay there again.

"Can't say enough about the staff, they were lovely without exception. The hotel feels a mix of styles and doesn't quite know what style it wants, old, new, 70's 80's. Comfort is ok but its the lack of attention to detail, particularly the cleaning, that lets it down. Some items were actually filthy ..."
